Edoardo Rea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Franzioni having to interfere. In the 4th minute Emilio Piccinini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Franzioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Gerre Borghi's Alessandro Cericola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessio Pace narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute Alessandro Cericola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Pace saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Tebano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Guerini to maneuver through the defense. Ettore De Rubeis charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore De Rubeis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gerre Borghi booed when Tebano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore De Rubeis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corrado Franzioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Piccinini in the 21st minute of the match. Alessio Pace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Cericola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Flavio Daniele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tebano FC defense, Flavio Daniele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessio Pace. The Tebano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessio Pace should have stopped the shot. Emilio Piccinini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edoardo Rea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Rea struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Corrado Franzioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tebano FC. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Cericola made a kick off. Corrado Franzioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Rea in the 55th minute of the match. Dario Verdini lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gerre Borghi! Gerre Borghi:s Corrado Franzioni showed great skill when he stopped Carmine Bocchi:s penalty. 62 minutes into the match, Tebano FC's goalkeeper Alessio Pace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Daniele. When Flavio Daniele came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gerre Borghi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Daniele couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Edoardo Rea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Franzioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Emilio Piccinini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tebano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 78th minute, Edoardo Rea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Franzioni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Tebano FC's Edoardo Rea in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gerre Borghi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tebano FC.
