Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fausto Polidori started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Adriano Di Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Camillo Helfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Molinaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cesano Boscone fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Cesano Boscone's Fausto Polidori looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35thth minute of the game Adriano Di Marino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.Inter's Emanuele Molinaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuele Molinaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Di Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cesano Boscone's zone, Dario Serantoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Di Placido came out of the goal and Dario Serantoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuele Molinaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Polidori in the 50th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Serantoni to make the kick off. Ennio Patrizi's late challenge caught a F.C.Inter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Patrizi helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Cesano Boscone got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Patrizi. Emanuele Molinaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Polidori, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Fausto Polidori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuele Molinaro made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Adriano Di Marino sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, F.C.Inter's Emanuele Molinaro got control of the ball when Adriano Di Marino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davide Fiore charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davide Fiore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes F.C.Inter got a freekick which was hit by Davide Fiore. In the 67th minute of the match, Adriano Di Marino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emanuele Molinaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute, Cesano Boscone's Fausto Polidori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuele Molinaro. Emanuele Molinaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 86 minutes into the match, F.C.Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Di Marino came free, but Emanuele Molinaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Polidori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Molinaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, F.C.Inter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Pardini to maneuver through the defense. Cesano Boscone's Camillo Del Prete couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for F.C.Inter. Adriano Di Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute of the match, Adriano Di Marino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emanuele Molinaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Cesano Boscone supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cesano Boscone would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
