Daniele Iacovella hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Borgo Paglia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Schirru came free, but Dario Cassone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ernesto Schirru made a precise shot to the right of Dario Cassone. Borgo Paglia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 石宽峰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Sarnelli in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Ernesto Schirru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Paglia FC's Dario Cassone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Sarnelli in the 23rd minute of play forced REGGIO CALABRIA's goalkeeper 石宽峰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 石宽峰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Nicolai in the 24th minute of play. Dario Cassone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Schirru in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Attilio Aceto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Cassone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance for a goal. 石宽峰 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Iacovella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Nicolai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Paglia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REGGIO CALABRIA the free kick. After 43 played minutes Borgo Paglia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Nicolai. Ernesto Schirru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Cassone having to interfere. If Attilio Aceto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Schirru to make the kick off. Dario Cassone was a little too slow when Ernesto Schirru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Fortunato Sarnelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 石宽峰. REGGIO CALABRIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Sarnelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Attilio Aceto came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dario Cassone could save by the left post. Dario Di Iulio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for REGGIO CALABRIA. Ernesto Schirru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dario Cassone. 1-3. In the 71st match minute, Borgo Paglia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Iacovella to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Schirru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Cassone having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, REGGIO CALABRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Sarnelli came free, but 石宽峰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Aceto kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Borgo Paglia FC's Fortunato Sarnelli got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Schirru got free with Dario Cassone in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to REGGIO CALABRIA getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dave Conti hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Borgo Paglia FC's Dario Vitale broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, REGGIO CALABRIA's Antonello Molinaro got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Dario Vitale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 石宽峰 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ernesto Schirru came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the REGGIO CALABRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Schirru couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Ernesto Schirru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REGGIO CALABRIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Schirru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Schirru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dario Cassone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borgo Paglia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. REGGIO CALABRIA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
