When Alfonso Nobili came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the schieroste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Nobili couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Amedeo Lombardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceriano Laghetto FC's goalkeeper Emilio Di Luca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felice Orlandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dave Ciscato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Felice Orlandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Ciscato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Orlandi in the 55th minute of play. Felice Orlandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ceriano Laghetto FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, schieroste's Amedeo Lombardi got a free kick in the 78th minute. The supporters of schieroste booed when Ceriano Laghetto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Santone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes in the game, Alberigo Di Camillo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dave Ciscato having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Felice Orlandi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Ciscato. Felice Orlandi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Alberigo Di Camillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Ciscato having to interfere. Ceriano Laghetto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
