Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) US Colline Livorno's Aldo De Filippo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. US Colline Livorno's Concetto Cristofari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Martano in the 11th minute of play. Aldo De Filippo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinando Improta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Aldo De Filippo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Aldo De Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Improta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberigo Olmi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO's Ferdinando Improta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo De Filippo in the 21st minute of play. Concetto Cristofari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Nicolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aldo De Filippo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored US Colline Livorno's protests and gave Aldo De Filippo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO booed when US Colline Livorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo De Filippo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Olmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Rucci's late challenge caught a F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Rucci helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to US Colline Livorno getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ferdinando Rucci hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in US Colline Livorno's zone, Dennis Nicolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Cristofari came out of the goal and Dennis Nicolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo De Filippo in the 37th minute of play forced F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO's goalkeeper Ferdinando Improta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Cesare Pizziolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Martano made a kick off. After 60 minutes of play, US Colline Livorno's Alberigo Olmi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Improta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberigo Olmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ferdinando Improta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Mascitti's late challenge caught a US Colline Livorno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Mascitti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, US Colline Livorno's Ferdinando Rucci got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Aldo De Filippo managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Colline Livorno's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo De Filippo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Improta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO defense, Aldo De Filippo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinando Improta. The F.C. FROSINONE CALCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinando Improta should have stopped the shot. If Dennis Nicolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
