Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmondo Cesare got the match started through his kick off. Aldo Locatelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attilio Massimi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Coccolone in the 19th minute of play forced Lissago's goalkeeper Beppe Di Meo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Di Meo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Coccolone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lissago's Beppe Di Meo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Panza in the 24th minute of play. Ermanno Panza scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beppe Di Meo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lissago's goalkeeper Beppe Di Meo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Litta booed when Lissago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Falcioni didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Panza in the 39th minute of play forced Lissago's goalkeeper Beppe Di Meo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Ermanno Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Di Meo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Locatelli struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Attilio Massimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lissago. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carter Coccolone to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Litta got a corner. Lissago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Pollastrini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Litta's Fabio Pollastrini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beppe Di Meo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Litta's goalkeeper Attilio Massimi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Carter Coccolone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lissago's Beppe Di Meo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Carter Coccolone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Litta's zone, Aldo Locatelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Massimi came out of the goal and Aldo Locatelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Carter Coccolone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Di Meo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lissago's zone, Ermanno Panza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Di Meo came out of the goal and Ermanno Panza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Di Meo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Coccolone in the 79th minute of the match. Antonello Santagata charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonello Santagata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Antonello Santagata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Locatelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Massimi having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ermanno Gaspari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attilio Massimi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Edmondo Cesare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Litta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
