Bianco Polidori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesare Scarinci in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Parodi's Ernesto Tornese has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes Parodi got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Liberti. Ernesto Picciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Silvestre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Ernesto Picciano made a precise shot to the right of Frank Silvestre. Vighizollo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Frank Silvestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Campese in the 28th minute of the match. Frank Silvestre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea Campese's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Vighizollo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Antonio Mazzocchetti hit a great ball. Vighizollo's Antonio Mazzocchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Scarinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vighizollo booed when Parodi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Fantasia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Antonio Mazzocchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ernesto Picciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Anselmo Russi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vighizollo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parodi the free kick. In the 60th minute, Anselmo Russi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Silvestre was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Andrea Campese capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrea Campese really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Andrea Campese took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Frank Silvestre to make any attempt to save it. Cesare Scarinci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bianco Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Picciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrea Campese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Silvestre having to interfere. Antonio Mazzocchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bianco Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesare Scarinci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bianco Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Scarinci in the 92nd minute of play. Parodi were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Vighizollo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alessandro Fantasia took the corner. After taking down the ball on Parodi's corner Alessandro Fantasia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frank Silvestre quite easily take care of the ball.
