Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Gigli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Romanese in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anconetta's goalkeeper Cristiano Gigli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aurelio Armellini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anconetta's Cristiano Gigli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Anconetta from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Gigli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Armellini in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Leini's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Contaldi came free, but Donato Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leini's Donato Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio De Leonardis in the 14th minute of play. Cristiano Gigli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Armellini in the 20th minute of play. Ettore Ascoli's late challenge caught a Leini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Ascoli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Aurelio Armellini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Gigli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Elia Romanese sent off a good shot on target. Attilio De Leonardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Donato Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio De Leonardis might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Pagliuca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attilio De Leonardis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Fabiano Contaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Leini's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Contaldi came free, but Donato Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Armellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Gigli having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Anconetta got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Larizza. If Elia Romanese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Lemme hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Elia Romanese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Leini's goalkeeper Donato Pagliuca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Contaldi. After 58 minutes, Comunardo Larizza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anconetta and the Leini players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anconetta's Comunardo Larizza got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Fabiano Contaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Anconetta's zone, Elia Romanese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Gigli came out of the goal and Elia Romanese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Elia Romanese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leini's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Romanese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Gigli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvise Danza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Anconetta got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Giannico. 79 minutes into the match, Leini's Ciro Petrini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elia Romanese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Gigli having to interfere. With a little luck, Leini's Donato Pagliuca got control of the ball when Fabiano Contaldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elia Romanese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristiano Gigli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Attilio De Leonardis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Anconetta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio De Leonardis couldn't finish the play.
