Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edoardo Mazzini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dave Domenghini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Romanese, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match, Edoardo Mazzini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donato Pagliuca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alvise Benarrivos short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Donato Pagliuca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elia Romanese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Domenghini having to interfere. Dave Domenghini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Romanese's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Donato Pagliuca was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabrizio Catena. Florian Renzi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Mazzini in the 25th minute of play forced Leini's goalkeeper Donato Pagliuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bagno A Ripoli's Dave Domenghini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Armellini in the 31st minute of play. When Bernardo Colagrossi fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bagno A Ripoli's protests and gave Bernardo Colagrossi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leini booed when Bagno A Ripoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Colagrossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Cesare Cordone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bagno A Ripoli and the Leini players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cesare Cordone kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Armellini was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Leini's Aurelio Armellini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Domenghini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60thth minute of the game Edoardo Mazzini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leini's Donato Pagliuca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bagno A Ripoli's zone, Aurelio Armellini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Domenghini came out of the goal and Aurelio Armellini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Renzi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Bagno A Ripoli's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Armellini came free, but Dave Domenghini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Bagno A Ripoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Cordone to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Alvise Benarrivo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bagno A Ripoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 93rd match minute, Leini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Danza to maneuver through the defense.
