Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferdinando Palma started the match with the kick off. If Angelo Zoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Zoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Bergomi having to interfere. Casavatore AFC's Angelo Zoff got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Casavatore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Sorrentino came free, but Camillo Demaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Black Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Palma came free, but Edmondo Bergomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmondo Bergomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Zoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Edmondo Bergomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Zoff's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Black Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Zoff came free, but Edmondo Bergomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Angelo Zoff put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edmondo Bergomi. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Alfonso Barbanti took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Camillo Demaria to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Sorrentino made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Sorrentino in the 53rd minute of play forced Casavatore AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Demaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Sorrentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Demaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Pezzella in the 57th minute of the match. When Casavatore AFC's Ferdinando Palma, in the 62nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Casavatore AFC. Black Devils's Edmondo Bergomi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Black Devils from getting a goal against them. Casavatore AFC's Ferdinando Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinando Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinando Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Bergomi having to interfere.
