The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, T.R. Guidonia's Domenico Renzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Boccanera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvaro Di Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Borel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Santucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Lavatrice dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bianco Boccanera, 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Alvaro Di Marino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrico Borel. T.R. Guidonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Di Marino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alvaro Di Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Borel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Cesare Ursini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrico Borel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Di Marino in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Pideura AFC's Alvaro Di Marino made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrico Borel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrico Borel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Di Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Alvaro Di Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Cristofari struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bianco Boccanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T.R. Guidonia. 41 minutes into the match, Ercole Santucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrico Borel. T.R. Guidonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Santucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Bianco Boccanera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Cristofari in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Di Marino in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Borel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Renzi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, T.R. Guidonia's goalkeeper Enrico Borel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Di Franco. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cesare Ursini managed to get in a good position for a shot. T.R. Guidonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Ursini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Boccanera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Briganti might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bianco Boccanera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Briganti ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, T.R. Guidonia's Enrico Borel got control of the ball when Ernesto Di Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristoforo Lavatrice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bianco Boccanera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Boccanera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Lavatrice in the 68th minute of play. Bianco Boccanera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Cristofari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesare Ursini during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Donato Briganti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Lavatrice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Boccanera having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Edmondo Mastrocola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrico Borel skillfully saved the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pideura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Cristofari came free, but Bianco Boccanera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Di Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Borel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that T.R. Guidonia were the better team. T.R. Guidonia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
