Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Armando Testa made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Testa in the 6th minute of play forced Velate FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Santovito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Armando Testa came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Stra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Testa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Giacchetti during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Velate FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emilio Giacchetti hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Velate FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Polidori. Emilio Giacchetti fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 24th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Liberti in the 32nd minute of play forced Velate FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Santovito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Testa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Velate FC's zone, Arrigo Liberti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Santovito came out of the goal and Arrigo Liberti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Stra AFC booed when Velate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Faieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Guerra's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ciccio Santovito on his right side and into the goal. 45 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Carmine Marulli made the kick off in the second half. Ciccio Santovito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Testa in the 53rd minute of the match. Ciccio Santovito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Liberti in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Velate FC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Faieta. After recieving a nice pass, Stra AFC's Ferdinando Guerra tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arrigo Liberti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Armando Testa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Santovito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrigo Liberti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Ciccio Santovito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stra AFC's Andrea Ceresoli got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Andrea Ceresoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Ceresoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciccio Santovito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Testa in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Testa in the 88th minute of play forced Velate FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Santovito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Velate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Polidori to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Andrea Ceresoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Santovito. Velate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Ceresoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
