Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christian Colle kicked off to start the match. Dave Serafini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Piscitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Gallucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Piscitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Christian Colle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arturo Boldrini. Christian Colle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Varlungo AFC's Frank Gallucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Piscitelli in the 34th minute of play. Cristiano Panino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Christian Colle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortunato Cherubini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Christian Colle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Fausto Polito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponzano and the Varlungo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Ponzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Polito to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Ponzano's Fortunato Cherubini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Varlungo AFC's Christian Colle got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Serafini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Boldrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Colle in the 80th minute of the match. If Dave Piscitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Boldrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Colle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Piscitelli scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Gallucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Varlungo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ponzano's performance. The match ended with a win for Ponzano.
