With a little luck, Redecesio's Fortunato Di Cesare got control of the ball when Fabrizio Ragusa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Daniele Lozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montilgallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redecesio the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Cirulli in the 13th minute of play forced Montilgallo's goalkeeper Edoardo Guida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Redecesio were awarded a corner. Federico Tocchetto went to the cornerflag to take it. Fortunato Di Cesare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Ragusa went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Redecesio's zone, Fabrizio Ragusa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Di Cesare came out of the goal and Fabrizio Ragusa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Di Febo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Ragusa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 31st minute. Montilgallo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redecesio's goalkeeper Fortunato Di Cesare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Cirulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edoardo Guida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Piccoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fortunato Di Cesare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Di Cesare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Ragusa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabrizio Ragusa came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Montilgallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Ragusa couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ciccio Eleuteri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redecesio's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Eleuteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Guida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Cirulli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edoardo Guida came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Cirulli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 80th minute. Edoardo Guida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Cirulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ciccio Eleuteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Federico Salomone charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Salomone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Achille Savoia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Redecesio's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Ragusa came free, but Fortunato Di Cesare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto De Cristofaro charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto De Cristofaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
