Misinto FC's Amedeo Imperatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Mingione in the 3rd minute of play. If Antonello Spada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Camillo Mingione dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amedeo Imperatore, 1-0. The supporters of Misinto FC booed when Coviolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Gulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Coviolo's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Spada came free, but Ermanno Palmisano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Misinto FC's Damiano Angelucci got a free kick in the 20th minute. Antonello Spada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Misinto FC's Alexander Marcantonio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermanno Palmisano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Coviolo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fulvio Fantozzi hit a great ball. Amedeo Imperatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Mingione in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play Misinto FC's Damiano Angelucci was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 34 played minutes Misinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Angelucci. In the 38th match minute, Coviolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Musso to maneuver through the defense. When Fortunato Rosi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coviolo's protests and gave Fortunato Rosi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Coviolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Rosi to maneuver through the defense. When Camillo Mingione, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Amedeo Imperatore was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Misinto FC's Anfilogino Capobianco got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Alexander Alleva fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misinto FC's protests and gave Alexander Alleva a yellow card for diving instead. Alexander Alleva kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Camillo Mingione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the game, Fortunato Rosi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Amedeo Imperatore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camillo Mingione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Antonello Spada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Antonello Spada got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anfilogino Capobianco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ermanno Palmisano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amedeo Imperatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Rosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Capobianco in the 83rd minute of play forced Coviolo's goalkeeper Ermanno Palmisano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Amedeo Pantani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonello Spada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Ermanno Palmisano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dennis Pagliarini charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Pagliarini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dennis Pagliarini kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Misinto FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Antonello Spada hit a great ball. If Camillo Mingione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coviolo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Misinto FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
