Ciccio Pettinelli started the match with the kick off. A collision led to San Cristoforo ct getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cristoforo Giordano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, San Cristoforo ct's Anselmo Catena got a free kick in the 5th minute. Attilio Di Gennaro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. San Cristoforo ct's Fulvio Baratta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save San Cristoforo ct from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Catena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to San Cristoforo ct getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Adriano Mirto hit a great ball. Fulvio Baratta made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Anthony Boninsegna sent off a good shot on target. Carmine Mirto came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fulvio Baratta could save by the left post. In the 18th minute, Fedele De Bartolo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulvio Baratta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cristoforo Giordano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Cornaiano's Fulvio Baratta threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciccio Pettinelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Fedele De Bartolo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulvio Baratta. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Carmine Mirto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulvio Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Pettinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. San Cristoforo ct's Fulvio Baratta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Testa in the 37th minute of play. Fedele Calcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Barberio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulvio Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Pettinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fulvio Baratta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Pettinelli in the 52nd minute of play. Fedele Testa took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulvio Baratta. Fulvio Baratta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 66thth minute of the game Ciccio Pettinelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Cristoforo ct's Fulvio Baratta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th match minute, San Cristoforo ct was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Giordano to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, San Cristoforo ct's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Pettinelli came free, but Fulvio Baratta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fedele Testa fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornaiano's protests and gave Fedele Testa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Cornaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Testa to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Fedele De Bartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Baratta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Mirto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Felice Barberio charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fulvio Baratta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Pettinelli in the 89th minute of play forced San Cristoforo ct's goalkeeper Fulvio Baratta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Baratta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmine Mirto went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute Ciccio Pettinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Baratta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Cornaiano were the better team. Cornaiano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
