In the 28th minute Cristoforo Magliocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Baratta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Basilico got free with Fulvio Baratta in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to puerto plata getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Daniele Quadrini hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristoforo Giordano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donato Felice's late challenge caught a puerto plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
