Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anfilogino Lozzi kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cernusco USC's zone, Diego Di Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermanno Fantozzi came out of the goal and Diego Di Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank De Bettin having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Beccacivetta got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Nicolo. Fabio Campo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Frank De Bettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Santone in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermanno Fantozzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Ermanno Bosso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cernusco USC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beccacivetta the free kick. A collision led to Cernusco USC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ermanno Bosso hit a great ball. Ermanno Fantozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Di Matteo in the 22nd minute of play. Franco Santone took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermanno Fantozzi. Ermanno Fantozzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Frank De Bettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Lozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Campo in the 45th minute of play forced Beccacivetta's goalkeeper Frank De Bettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Di Matteo made a kick off. After 56 played minutes, Beccacivetta's Fabio Lio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermanno Fantozzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beccacivetta reached it. Cernusco USC's Ermanno Bosso got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Ermanno Bosso off the ground. In the 57th minute, Ermanno Bosso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Fantozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Di Matteo in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Fabio Campo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frank De Bettin. Ermanno Fantozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Santone in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Franco Santone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Fantozzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Franco Santone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Beccacivetta's goalkeeper Frank De Bettin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Campo. Cernusco USC's Ermanno Fantozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Di Matteo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Franco Santone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Fantozzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Di Matteo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ermanno Fantozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beccacivetta. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
