Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amerigo Anelli started the match with the kick off. Donato Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fedele Giocondo made a huge save. A collision led to MARIACHI getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Francesco Pezzella hit a great ball. Беневенто's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enzo Patrizi in the 6th minute. Беневенто's Enzo Patrizi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Corrado De Rubeis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fedele Giocondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Cantagallo in the 12th minute. Amerigo Anelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Amerigo Anelli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Corrado De Rubeis. Alessandro Cantagallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fedele Giocondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Capuozzi in the 21st minute of play forced Беневенто's goalkeeper Fedele Giocondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Alessandro Cantagallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fedele Giocondo. The goal made the score 1-1. Antonello Giacomini scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corrado De Rubeis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Беневенто's Fedele Giocondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Беневенто from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Anelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado De Rubeis came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Беневенто's Amerigo Anelli. But to his dismay, Amerigo Anelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Capuozzi in the 40th minute of play forced Беневенто's goalkeeper Fedele Giocondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MARIACHI's Corrado De Rubeis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Anelli in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Amerigo Anelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The MARIACHI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Беневенто were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Arrigo Capuozzi made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, MARIACHI's goalkeeper Corrado De Rubeis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Anelli. In the 62nd minute, Enzo Patrizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Amerigo Anelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corrado De Rubeis. Amerigo Anelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Enzo Patrizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corrado De Rubeis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, MARIACHI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Di Paolo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the MARIACHI defense, Amerigo Anelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado De Rubeis. The MARIACHI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado De Rubeis should have stopped the shot. Corrado De Rubeis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Patrizi in the 84th minute of play. Enzo Patrizi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado De Rubeis having to make a save. When Francesco Bassani fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARIACHI's protests and gave Francesco Bassani a yellow card for diving instead. Francesco Bassani hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Antonello Giacomini, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. MARIACHI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Enzo Patrizi scored to the left of an out of position Corrado De Rubeis, making the score, 1-8. Alessandro Cantagallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MARIACHI booed when Беневенто was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Simonetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arrigo Capuozzi in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Giocondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Беневенто's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
