The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Del Vecchio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Iachini got free with Damiano De Bonis in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Anfilogino Pettinelli came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Assago AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Pettinelli couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Angelo Iachini made a precise shot to the right of Damiano De Bonis. F.C. Blackline's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Angelo Iachini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Damiano De Bonis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damiano De Bonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Pettinelli's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Pettinelli in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano De Bonis saved F.C. Blackline from getting behind. Anfilogino Pettinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, F.C. Blackline's goalkeeper Damiano De Bonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Iachini. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Martano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Del Monaco was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Anfilogino Pettinelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Martano to make the kick off. Ernesto Cancemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anfilogino Pettinelli came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Assago AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Pettinelli couldn't finish the play. Damiano De Bonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Pettinelli in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Claudio De Cristofaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Vitale charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Vitale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Assago AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Vitale to maneuver through the defense. Amerigo Troilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, F.C. Blackline was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Troilo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Assago AFC had won after a very even match.
