The supporters of Cadoneghe AFC booed when RB Udine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Ragusa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Di Pietro scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damiano Tarquini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, RB Udine's Augusto Massimini made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonello Gaspari was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, RB Udine's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Taurino came free, but Damiano Tarquini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Massimini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello Gaspari having to make a save. Damiano Tarquini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demetrio Pan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Cesare Paolucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Augusto Massimini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Udine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Massimini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes RB Udine got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Di Mario. When Cadoneghe AFC's Beppe Di Pietro in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RB Udine's goalie prevented a goal. Damiano Tarquini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Bizzarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RB Udine's Antonio Corvasce got a free kick in the 47th minute. The audience held their breath when Fortunato Ferretti in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Damiano Tarquini's left hand side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrizio Taurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Augusto Massimini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Gaspari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cadoneghe AFC's zone, Augusto Massimini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Gaspari came out of the goal and Augusto Massimini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Bianco Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Udine's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Beattie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Gaspari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Tarquini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Carlucci in the 74th minute of play. Damiano Tarquini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Pan in the 77th minute. The supporters of Cadoneghe AFC booed when RB Udine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Ragusa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadoneghe AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though RB Udine had controlled the match.
