Federico Marziali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Taurino scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Marziali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dino Chelodi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. Prepo's protests and gave Dino Chelodi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.C. Prepo's Dino Chelodi got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Demetrio Pan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadoneghe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio Pan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demetrio Pan's late challenge caught a A.C. Prepo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demetrio Pan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Cadoneghe AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Pan to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Bondi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Antonello Gaspari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The A.C. Prepo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cadoneghe AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrizio Taurino to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ferruccio Panino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferruccio Panino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Antonello Gaspari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Gaspari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Panino in the 66th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Fabrizio Taurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Prepo's Federico Marziali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonello Gaspari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Panino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cesare Bondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fabrizio Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadoneghe AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Taurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Marziali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadoneghe AFC's goalkeeper Antonello Gaspari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cadoneghe AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
