In the 6th minute, Garbagna Novarese FC's Alfredo Polmone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Enzo Sciascia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Garbagna Novarese FC's zone, Alberigo Grossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Puddu came out of the goal and Alberigo Grossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Sciascia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Manzo having to interfere. Enzo Sciascia struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Camillo Manzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garbagna Novarese FC. When Ferruccio Coccia fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rossetta AFC's protests and gave Ferruccio Coccia a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Polmone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Manzo having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, one of Rossetta AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Polmone in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Manzo saved Rossetta AFC from getting behind. Enzo Sciascia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Manzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Polmone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Polmone struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Enzo Sciascia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

In the 55th minute, Aurelio Cangiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camillo Manzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Polmone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Rossetta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Coccia. Alfredo Polmone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Cosimo Dorigatti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garbagna Novarese FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossetta AFC the free kick. After 61 played minutes Garbagna Novarese FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Dorigatti. Camillo Manzo came out of the goal and Alfredo Polmone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camillo Manzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Sciascia in the 69th minute of play. During the 72nd minute of the match Ferruccio Coccia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ferruccio Coccia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Camillo Manzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Dorigatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camillo Manzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Sciascia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Loreto during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rossetta AFC's Cosimo Loreto got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Garbagna Novarese FC's Enzo Sciascia in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossetta AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Enzo Sciascia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Polmone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Manzo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Garbagna Novarese FC's Alfredo Polmone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camillo Manzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Carter Proia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camillo Manzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Sciascia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Garbagna Novarese FC fully deserved thier win.
