The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Scacchi in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Gerola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Gerola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugenio Manzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. When Savignano A Mare's Bernardo Scacchi in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 17th minute, Ercole Milani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Ciscato kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With his leg Anselmo Gerola managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Savignano A Mare's Bernardo Scacchi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 23 played minutes Savignano A Mare got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Sabatini. Tiorre's Anselmo Gerola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Manzi in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Savignano A Mare's Bernardo Scacchi got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Alessio Combi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Carter De Lucia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Scacchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Gerola was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Eugenio Manzi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Bernardo Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Savignano A Mare's Anselmo Gerola threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardo Scacchi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Combi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Scacchi in the 55th minute of play forced Tiorre's goalkeeper Anselmo Gerola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Amadei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Gerola having to interfere. Anselmo Gerola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Scacchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Eugenio Manzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 86 minutes into the match, Tiorre's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Manzi came free, but Anselmo Gerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Federico Di Gennaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Gerola came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Savignano A Mare's Eugenio Manzi. But to his dismay, Eugenio Manzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 94 minutes, Eugenio Manzi made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tiorre's Anselmo Gerola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Savignano A Mare fully deserved thier win.
