Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenio Giampietro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabrizio Mansueto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Colucci in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Eugenio Giampietro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francesco Pazienza, passed just outside the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Montanaro's Fausto Spiazzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrizio Mansueto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fausto Spiazzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Mansueto having to interfere. Dennis Casiraghi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Mansueto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Vinci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Figino got a freekick which was hit by Amos Liberti. Fausto Spiazzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fabrizio Mansueto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Figino! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Montanaro. Elia Guerriero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabrizio Mansueto. 0-1. Fausto Spiazzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fabrizio Mansueto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Spiazzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Spiazzi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Montanaro's zone, Eugenio Giampietro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Pazienza came out of the goal and Eugenio Giampietro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Liberti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pazienza having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Alfonsi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Figino getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arturo Alfonsi hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Fausto Spiazzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Mansueto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Augusto Andreassi made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Pazienza. Montanaro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eugenio Giampietro succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Montanaro's Fausto Spiazzi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franco Vinci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Mansueto having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Figino's Dario Fioriti tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Montanaro's Fausto Spiazzi in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figino's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Montanaro booed when Figino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Liberti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Spiazzi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Mansueto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, one of Figino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Figino. The goalkeeper, Fabrizio Mansueto, was totally fooled by Montanaro's Elia Guerriero, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
