An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Enzo Mattei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Ermanno Chizzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Migliaro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Chizzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ermanno Chizzo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emilio Di Biagio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emilio Di Biagio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Chizzo in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Nicolini in the 20th minute of play forced Migliaro AFC's goalkeeper Dino Terrasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Sampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Terrasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Sampo in the 29th minute of the match. If Ermanno Chizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, San Lorenzo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enzo Mattei fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Sampo made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Ermanno Chizzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dino Terrasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Sampo in the 61st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Migliaro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Sampo came free, but Dino Terrasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
