Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lainate's Antonio Caccia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fulvio Candeloro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Camillo Albertini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Vago having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lainate's zone, Fulvio Candeloro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Vago came out of the goal and Fulvio Candeloro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Lainate's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Candeloro came free, but Beppe Vago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Caccia in the 13th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Vignanello's goalkeeper Franco Colonna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Colonna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Caccia in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Caccia during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antonio Caccia hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lainate's zone, Camillo Albertini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Vago came out of the goal and Camillo Albertini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lainate's Beppe Vago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Candeloro in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Camillo Albertini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Vignanello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Albertini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Vignanello's Angelo Nola got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute Camillo Albertini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Vago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Colonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Caccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Beppe Vago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Albertini in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Lokomotiv Vignanello's Fulvio Candeloro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Vago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Vignanello's Adriano Passerini got a free kick in the 60th minute. Antonio Caccia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Colonna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Fulvio Candeloro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppe Vago having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Eugenio Di Cola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Vago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Albertini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulvio Candeloro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Albertini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Lainate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Garofalo to maneuver through the defense. When Lokomotiv Vignanello's Camillo Albertini in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lainate's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Lainate booed when Lokomotiv Vignanello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Di Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Caccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lainate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lokomotiv Vignanello's performance. The match ended with a win for Lokomotiv Vignanello.
