Emanuele Brandini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Proietto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ferruccio Proietto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Ferruccio Proietto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Brandini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amedeo Toppi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balsignano AFC's protests and gave Amedeo Toppi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Balsignano AFC's Amedeo Toppi got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of A.C. Biassono booed when Balsignano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Toppi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Mazzetti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuele Brandini. A.C. Biassono's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beppe Niccolai to make the kick off. Federico Burgnich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Niccolai in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Balsignano AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Amedeo Toppi hit a great ball. Filippo Di Placido's late challenge caught a Balsignano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo Di Placido helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes A.C. Biassono got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Di Placido. In the 63rd minute, one of Balsignano AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balsignano AFC. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for A.C. Biassono. Alessandro Pietrangelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Federico Burgnich. 2-0. Arrigo Rondinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Burgnich having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, one of Balsignano AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Biassono a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alessandro Pietrangelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balsignano AFC's Federico Burgnich. 4-0. A.C. Biassono's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
