Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Vitullo made the kick off which started today's match. C.J. Verreau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Ganjoni's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 8th minute C.J. Verreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Malvezzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sasso Marconi FC's Daniele Felice got a free kick in the 9th minute. Dino Bearzot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Bearzot in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Montini saved Ganjoni from getting behind. Alex Vitullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Malvezzi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sasso Marconi FC's zone, C.J. Verreau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Malvezzi came out of the goal and C.J. Verreau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ganjoni getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Armando Napoleone hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Sasso Marconi FC's Dino Bearzot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Montini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dino Bearzot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Vitullo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Davide Malvezzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as C.J. Verreau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Davide Malvezzi. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Vitullo got free with Davide Malvezzi in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Bearzot to strike the kick off in the second half. Davide Malvezzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Vitullo in the 55th minute of play. Ernesto Lucchetta hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Alex Vitullo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Davide Malvezzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Malvezzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Vitullo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. C.J. Verreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sasso Marconi FC defense, C.J. Verreau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Malvezzi. The Sasso Marconi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Malvezzi should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, C.J. Verreau put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Davide Malvezzi. Frank Montini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Albertini in the 92nd minute. C.J. Verreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Malvezzi having to interfere.
