Five Points Studio's Alessio Ciarrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Carosella in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Five Points Studio booed when San Genesio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Gentile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonello Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes San Genesio got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Gentile. Five Points Studio's Antonello Ballerini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Demetrio Bottega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Five Points Studio's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Bottega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Marinacci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulvio Gentile's late challenge caught a Five Points Studio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulvio Gentile helped the player get up and apologised. Fulvio Gentile hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Five Points Studio's Demetrio Bottega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Marinacci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Barone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Marinacci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Bottega in the 53rd minute of the match. When Fulvio Gentile was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Francesco Trombetta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Cristiano Giordano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Natalucci's late challenge caught a San Genesio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
