Camillo Andreola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mariano having to interfere. Orgnano FC's Christian Mariano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio De Tommasi in the 11th minute of play. Dalaidana FC's Filippo Petrella got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filippo Petrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Demetrio De Tommasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalaidana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Christian Mariano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio De Tommasi in the 31st minute of the match. Demetrio De Tommasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Antognoni's late challenge caught a Dalaidana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Antognoni helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dalaidana FC booed when Orgnano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Antognoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Demetrio De Tommasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Mariano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio De Tommasi in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Mariano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio De Tommasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio De Tommasi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 51st playminute. With an all-out effort, Dalaidana FC's Christian Mariano threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Demetrio De Tommasi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Demetrio De Tommasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Mariano was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The penalty shot was made by Ciro Coscia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dalaidana FC's Bruno Cerasoli. 1-3. In the 89th match minute, Orgnano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Mazzone to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio De Tommasi succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4.
