The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Alexander Pelusi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ravina FC's protests and gave Alexander Pelusi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Alexander Pelusi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Gaudino made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alfredo Di Febo sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the game, Fabiano Mastrangelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcellona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ravina FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Fabiano Mastrangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Barcellona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexander Cruciani was slow to take the kick. During this time Ravina FC's players had a chance to rest. Alexander De Leonardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ernesto Gaudino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcellona's zone, Alfredo Di Febo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Gaudino came out of the goal and Alfredo Di Febo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Alexander De Leonardis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ravina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander De Leonardis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Gaudino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrea Caccavale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex De Cristofaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ravina FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alexander Pelusi hit a great ball. Ernesto Gaudino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander De Leonardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander De Leonardis was the one to do the kick off. Fulvio Selvaggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Alfredo Di Febo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Gaudino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Andrea Caccavale was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anthony Scudieri. In the 66th minute, Fulvio Selvaggi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcellona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Anselmo De Carolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Gaudino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Di Febo in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 75 in the game by Fulvio Selvaggi from a close distance when the talented Andrea Caccavale managed to make a qualified save. Ravina FC's players were relieved. Ernesto Gaudino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander De Leonardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Fulvio Selvaggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Alexander De Leonardis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Gaudino. FC Barcellona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander De Leonardis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 90 minutes, Biagio Melani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ravina FC and the FC Barcellona players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Ravina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Barcellona:s goal. After a rather tough play, Ravina FC's Eugenio Nicolai got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Alex De Cristofaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Barcellona players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ravina FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
