Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Cornocchio FC's Anselmo Rubini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Di Leonardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 7 played minutes Cornocchio FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Rubini. The audience was convinced that Florian Cellucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Di Leonardo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute of the match Alberigo Melucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Di Leonardo skillfully saved the ball. Dennis Di Leonardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cellucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Di Leonardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Cellucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Amos Cappucci hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Camillo Giansante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Camillo Giansante came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Poggio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Giansante couldn't finish the play. Biagio Trinca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Alvaro Marchetti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alvaro Marchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Giansante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camillo Giansante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Marchetti having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Trinca got free with Alvaro Marchetti in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Poggio FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cornocchio FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Cellucci to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Rubini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Tesone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Marchetti having to interfere. A collision led to Cornocchio FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Amos Cappucci hit a great ball. The supporters of Cornocchio FC booed when Poggio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo De Santis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Alex Colecchia sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dennis Di Leonardo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alex Colecchia this time. Biagio Trinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cornocchio FC's Alvaro Marchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Giansante in the 71st minute of play. If Camillo Giansante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Marchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Giansante in the 77th minute of play. Cornocchio FC's Alvaro Marchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Giansante in the 90th minute of play. Dennis Di Leonardo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Anselmo Rubini sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cornocchio FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
