Figino Serenza's Carter Trotta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Moriggi in the 11th minute of play. Davide Abete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Trotta having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Bruno Moriggi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Figino Serenza's Carter Trotta. Carter Trotta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Figino Serenza got a freekick which was hit by Amos Di Natale. Carmine Larizza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amos Di Natale's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Amos Di Natale took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Carmine Larizza to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Abete in the 37th minute of play forced Figino Serenza's goalkeeper Carter Trotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes in the game, Amos Di Natale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carmine Larizza having to interfere. Carmine Larizza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Di Meo in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Bruno Moriggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Trotta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amos Di Natale made a kick off. After some careless play in the Montorio FC defense, Emilio Di Meo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmine Larizza. The Montorio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmine Larizza should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Montorio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Di Meo came free, but Carmine Larizza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montorio FC's Bruno Moriggi got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Figino Serenza getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aurelio Menichini hit a great ball. Carter Trotta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Moriggi in the 65th minute of the match. Davide Abete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carter Trotta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Amos Di Natale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figino Serenza's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Di Natale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Larizza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Figino Serenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Sciarra to maneuver through the defense. When Figino Serenza's Amos Di Natale in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montorio FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montorio FC's goalkeeper Carmine Larizza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Esposito might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carter Trotta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dino Esposito ran back to his position shaking his head.
