If Cristiano Di Fiore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Palomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Mercuri in the 7th minute of play. Bruno Angelucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermanno Volta having to make a save. Ermanno Volta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo De Angelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bruno Angelucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Amedeo Di Vincenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortunato Antonangeli's late challenge caught a ARMATA BRANCALEONE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fortunato Antonangeli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Bruno Angelucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dario Rullo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Angelucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ermanno Volta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ARMATA BRANCALEONE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Camillo Dossena hit a great ball. After some careless play in the F.C Speranta defense, Bruno Angelucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Volta. The F.C Speranta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Volta should have stopped the shot. Bruno Angelucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Volta having to interfere. A collision led to F.C Speranta getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cristiano Di Fiore hit a great ball. Cosimo Negri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ermanno Volta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo De Angelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Volta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo De Angelis went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Mercuri was the one to do the kick off. ARMATA BRANCALEONE's Bruno Angelucci got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camillo De Angelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermanno Volta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camillo De Angelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Angelucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Volta having to interfere. Bruno Angelucci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Ermanno Volta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Mercuri in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Palomba saved ARMATA BRANCALEONE from getting behind. After 77 played minutes ARMATA BRANCALEONE got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Proietti. 80 minutes into the match, ARMATA BRANCALEONE's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Mercuri came free, but Emanuele Palomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bruno Angelucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARMATA BRANCALEONE's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Angelucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Volta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Francesco Bani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Camillo De Angelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Dossena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Volta having to interfere. ARMATA BRANCALEONE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
