Federico Nardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Carota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunardo Sacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Furgat in the 13th minute of play. Armin Amatori hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Nardi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Budrione defense, Florian Malandra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Comunardo Sacchi. The Budrione fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Comunardo Sacchi should have stopped the shot. Florian Malandra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Sacchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Federico Nardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Bertoni in the 30th minute. Donato De Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Sacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Rios in the 37th minute of the match. If Florian Malandra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Mei during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
