When Alexander Altobelli fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atalanta Bg's protests and gave Alexander Altobelli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atalanta Bg's Alexander Altobelli got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ennio Graziano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ennio Santalucia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Damiani in the 7th minute of play forced Atalanta Bg's goalkeeper Ennio Santalucia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Damiani scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Santalucia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sesto Ulteriano fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Sesto Ulteriano's Francesco Damiani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Adriano Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Forte made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Adriano Amadei sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Adriano Amadei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Forte. Sesto Ulteriano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Amadei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fortunato Forte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atalanta Bg's Adriano Amadei shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ennio Santalucia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Damiani in the 35th minute of the match. If Adriano Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Sesto Ulteriano's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ciccone came free, but Fortunato Forte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Adriano Amadei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Forte had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernardo Ciccone from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Graziano in the 47th minute of play forced Atalanta Bg's goalkeeper Ennio Santalucia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Damiani was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bernardo Ciccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Francesco Damiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Santalucia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Damiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Santalucia having to interfere. Ennio Graziano came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ennio Santalucia could save by the left post. Claudio Lupi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Fortunato Forte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Amadei in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Graziano got free with Ennio Santalucia in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute of the match, Francesco Damiani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ennio Santalucia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adriano Amadei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Forte having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Adriano Amadei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalanta Bg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Amadei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Graziano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Francesco Damiani came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sesto Ulteriano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Damiani couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Bernardo Ciccone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Forte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Amadei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Forte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Ennio Santalucia was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Ennio Graziano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ennio Graziano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
