Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrea Ascenzi kicked off to start the match. Damiano Caporale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Ascenzi in the 5th minute of play. Damiano Caporale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Toto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Daniele Disastro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Ascenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Caporale having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Villa Adriana's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Toto came free, but Damiano Caporale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Caporale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Toto in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Adriana's zone, Cesare Toto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Caporale came out of the goal and Cesare Toto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesare Toto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cesare Toto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Niccolai's late challenge caught a Varlungo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Niccolai helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Villa Adriana got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Niccolai. After 46 minutes, Alex Bellucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Adriana and the Varlungo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Varlungo AFC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bruno Giammarino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villa Adriana's Damiano Caporale. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camillo Bonelli made a kick off. Andrea Ascenzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Damiano Caporale made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Ettore Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Giammarino shot from long distance in the 59th minute, but Damiano Caporale was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 60th minute, Claudio Pellecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Toto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Damiano Caporale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damiano Caporale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Ascenzi in the 70th minute of play. Daniele Disastro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fulvio Russi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Daniele Disastro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Adriana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Disastro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniele Disastro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Russi having to interfere. With a little luck, Villa Adriana's Damiano Caporale got control of the ball when Cesare Toto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villa Adriana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Andrea Ascenzi scored to the left of an out of position Damiano Caporale, making the score, 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Daniele Disastro made a precise shot to the right of Fulvio Russi. Varlungo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Varlungo AFC's Cristoforo Del Monaco got a free kick in the 97th minute. Varlungo AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Villa Adriana to leave the ground with a draw.
