The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edoardo Porta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edoardo Porta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Africano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Enrico De Santis could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Frank Orioli however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Sud Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Palmieri came free, but Edoardo Porta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pitelli AFC's Biagio Pilla got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Enrico De Santis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Orioli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adriano Palmieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edoardo Porta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Palmieri ran back to his position shaking his head. Achille Zangari took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Orioli. Frank Orioli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Amedeo Franceschi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Sud Milano's Enrico De Santis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Orioli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Orioli made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Enrico De Santis sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Pitelli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Forlano. Sud Milano's Edoardo Porta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Palmieri in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Palmieri was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Emilio Africano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitelli AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Africano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Porta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 52 played minutes Pitelli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Franceschi. Achille Zangari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Orioli having to make a save. Enrico De Santis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pitelli AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elia Di Giambattista hit a great ball. Adriano Palmieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sud Milano were furious when Fortunato Pasquino was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 70th minute, one of Sud Milano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sud Milano. Edoardo Porta made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Emilio Africano sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Sud Milano got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Del Grosso. With a little luck, Sud Milano's Edoardo Porta got control of the ball when Emilio Africano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sud Milano's Edoardo Porta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Palmieri in the 82nd minute of play.
