Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fabio Balestra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Vighignolo booed when Murta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Spagnuolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Tacco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Mammarella in the 6th minute of play. Fulvio Zangari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Tacco having to interfere. Fabio Balestra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Enzo Cara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Cara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Balestra's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Enzo Cara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Balestra, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Aldo Gigli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Zangari hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aldo Gigli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Cara having to interfere. When Dave Pozzoli fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vighignolo's protests and gave Dave Pozzoli a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vighignolo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dave Pozzoli hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Angelo Spagnuolo fired a really elegant long shot, but Enzo Cara threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The long shot by Emiliano Di Tommaso in the 36th minute really tested Enzo Cara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Enzo Cara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Balestra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinando Petricca charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Petricca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferdinando Petricca kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Fabio Balestra came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Murta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Balestra couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Andrea Nazzari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vighignolo's Cosimo Mammarella in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Murta FC's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Andrea Nazzari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vighignolo the free kick. After 61 played minutes Murta FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Nazzari. In the 62nd minute, Cosimo Mammarella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Cara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Gigli in the 65th minute of play. Aldo Gigli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Vighignolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Salemme to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Cara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Balestra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cosimo Mammarella might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Tacco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Mammarella ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Cara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Balestra in the 88th minute of play. Murta FC's Aldo Gigli got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Balestra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Cara having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Murta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
