After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Enzo Mauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSC NAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Mauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrizio Di Febo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SSC NAPOLI getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Enzo Censi hit a great ball. Enzo Mauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrizio Di Febo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Moschini AFC defense, Enzo Mauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrizio Di Febo. The Moschini AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrizio Di Febo should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Domina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Barducci in the 22nd minute of the match. When SSC NAPOLI's Enzo Mauro in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Enzo Mauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Di Febo having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Bernardo Petrucci had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 42 played minutes SSC NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Corrente. Beppe Manzi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Enzo Censi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Coletti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Davide Borel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Domina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Censi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fabrizio Di Febo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SSC NAPOLI's zone, Dennis Coletti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Domina came out of the goal and Dennis Coletti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davide Borel got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Davide Borel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Mauro got free with Fabrizio Di Febo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Mauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fabrizio Di Febo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Moschini AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SSC NAPOLI's performance. The match ended with a win for SSC NAPOLI.
