Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Malandra to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Ciurros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Colelli to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cao Di Sopra FC's zone, Alberto Malandra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Gallucci came out of the goal and Alberto Malandra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberigo Colelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amos Gallucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Malandra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amos Gallucci. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ciurros FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
