Francesco Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Falasca in the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Carlo Falasca took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Francesco Contestabile to make any attempt to save it. Portofino's Francesco Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Falasca in the 16th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Portofino got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Mariano. If Fabrizio Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Portofino's Amos Iovine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessio Pace narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amos Iovine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Portofino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlo Falasca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carlo Falasca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Contestabile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Portofino's Francesco Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Falasca in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felice Granati got free with Francesco Contestabile in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Falasca, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Felice Granati recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francesco Contestabile. Felice Granati showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Fabrizio Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Christian Coscia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco Contestabile was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of JUVENTUS booed when Portofino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Rocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Iovine came free, but Alessio Pace reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Primavera got free with Alessio Pace in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portofino's Amos Iovine pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in JUVENTUS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Dennis Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Portofino getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dennis Mariano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Portofino defense, Felice Granati kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Contestabile. The Portofino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Contestabile should have stopped the shot. JUVENTUS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
