Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gerenzano's Domenico Cesare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emiliano Rainaldi took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Scarano. Anselmo Scarano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Emiliano Rainaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Anselmo Scarano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Gerenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Cremonese came free, but Anselmo Scarano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Rainaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anselmo Scarano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Reali kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Emiliano Rainaldi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gerenzano's Anselmo Scarano. Anselmo Scarano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domenico Cesare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Lattanzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Cesare, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Hillerborg's Arrigo Lattanzio got control of the ball when Dave Cimino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hillerborg's Arrigo Lattanzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Cesare in the 42nd minute of play. Arrigo Lattanzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Cesare in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Cristoforo Vitucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hillerborg and the Gerenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristoforo Vitucci kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Gerenzano's Domenico Cesare in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillerborg's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Hillerborg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Hillerborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Miccoli to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Scarano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Cremonese in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Gerenzano booed when Hillerborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo De Cristofaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Hillerborg got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Vitucci. A collision led to Gerenzano getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Antonio Pacella hit a great ball. Carmine Cremonese's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Scarano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When Gerenzano's Domenico Cesare in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillerborg's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hillerborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gerenzano a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cesare Gizzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hillerborg's Arrigo Lattanzio. 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, Hillerborg's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Gaspari came free, but Arrigo Lattanzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hillerborg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
