Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pionca FC's Alfonso Campo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pionca FC's Fabio Pantani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Di Luzio in the 4th minute of play. Fabio Pantani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Paganelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Concetto Schirones short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Filippo Di Giandomenico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Concetto Schirone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Alfonso Campo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Di Giandomenico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ettore Paganelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Pantani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alfonso Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Di Giandomenico having to interfere. Filippo Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Campo in the 40th minute of play. When Ettore Paganelli came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Sottomarina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Paganelli couldn't finish the play. The Pionca FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sottomarina FC were winning 0-1.

Federico Di Luzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Pantani having to interfere. Alfonso Campo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Campo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pionca FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Federico Di Luzio 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Ettore Paganelli charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore Paganelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ettore Paganelli hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pionca FC booed when Sottomarina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Giannetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pionca FC's Alfonso Campo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Concetto Schirone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippo Di Giandomenico. Sottomarina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Concetto Schirone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 68 played minutes Pionca FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Franceschelli. In the 77th minute, Cosimo Musacchio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sottomarina FC's Alessandro Capaldo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabio Pantani but with some difficulty. Filippo Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Schirone in the 84th minute of play. Alfonso Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Di Giandomenico having to interfere. Fabio Pantani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Paganelli in the 96th minute of the match. The Sottomarina FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pionca FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
