Eraldo Silveri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Furino having to interfere. Armando Furino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Taglieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Emiliano Picca kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to TROOM getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristiano Di Girolamo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, MESSICANA's Alvise Vitale tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. MESSICANA were furious when Attilio Marinetti was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of MESSICANA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, TROOM's Cesare Ianni got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ernesto Costantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ciro Sorrentino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Ernesto Costantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Sorrentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Eraldo Silveri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TROOM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Silveri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Taglieri was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Costantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Sorrentino having to interfere. Enzo Taglieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ernesto Costantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the TROOM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
