Damiano Caligaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Di Fonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Calcio Catania's zone, Dennis Falasca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Loreto came out of the goal and Dennis Falasca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anthony Guarrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Flavio Loreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Falasca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Melucci charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Melucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bobbiate's Fabio Melucci got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Anthony Guarrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Flavio Loreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Scandella's late challenge caught a Bobbiate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Calcio Catania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Scandella to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Massaro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Calcio Catania's Flavio Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Falasca in the 62nd minute of play. Alberigo Volponi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Bobbiate's Anthony Guarrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Loreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Calcio Catania's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Guarrera came free, but Flavio Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concetto Massaro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bobbiate were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
