An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele De Rubeis in the 7th minute of play forced Clitoridense's goalkeeper Angelo Falasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Clitoridense's Franco De Fina got a free kick in the 8th minute. Demetrio Fasciani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Daniele De Rubeis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelo Falasca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 18 minutes, Daniele De Rubeis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele De Rubeis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Salvagnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Rotili having to interfere. Franco De Fina hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercole Lauro during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Ercole Lauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Fasciani got free with Angelo Falasca in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Riolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Lauro came free, but Alfredo Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Riolo's zone, Cristiano Salvagnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Rotili came out of the goal and Cristiano Salvagnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Cristiano Salvagnin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Riolo's Alfredo Rotili. Alfredo Rotili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Demetrio Fasciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Angelo Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Falasca was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Daniele De Rubeis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniele De Rubeis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 42nd minute when Ercole Lauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Franco De Fina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clitoridense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riolo the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Clitoridense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco De Fina to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Clitoridense were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele De Rubeis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ercole Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Franco De Fina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. A collision led to Clitoridense getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Franco De Fina hit a great ball. Riolo's Alfredo Rotili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Riolo from getting a goal against them. When Dario Mazzini came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Clitoridense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Mazzini couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Salvagnin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Rotili when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Salvagnin got free with Alfredo Rotili in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Falasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele De Rubeis in the 67th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Clitoridense:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riolo:s goal. Clitoridense:s Angelo Falasca showed great skill when he stopped Francesco Di Nardo:s penalty. Angelo Falasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Fasciani in the 72nd minute of the match. Angelo Falasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Fasciani, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Cristiano Salvagnin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Clitoridense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Salvagnin couldn't finish the play. If Cristiano Salvagnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Riolo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dario Mazzini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Riolo's zone, Cristiano Salvagnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Rotili came out of the goal and Cristiano Salvagnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Clitoridense's Ercole Lauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Rotili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Salvagnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Falasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele De Rubeis in the 97th minute of the match. Clitoridense's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
