Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dario Giandomenico made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Edoardo Ricciuti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modugno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrete the free kick. After a rather tough play, Modugno FC's Edoardo Ricciuti got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A hard shot by Franco Miccio from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Davide Toccaceli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dario Giandomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Fanfarone having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Christian Casadei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Amedeo Di Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Toccaceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amedeo Di Monte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Toccaceli having to make a save. Arrigo Causio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Damiano Fanfarone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Causio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Di Monte made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Aldo Proietti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Toccaceli was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Edoardo Ricciuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Antognoni during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Torrete booed when Modugno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Antognoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Aldo Proietti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modugno FC's Davide Toccaceli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damiano Fanfarone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modugno FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alessio Antognoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modugno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessio Antognoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Fanfarone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Amedeo Di Monte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amedeo Di Monte in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Toccaceli saved Modugno FC from getting behind. Damiano Fanfarone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Causio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Davide Toccaceli came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Torrete's Aldo Proietti. But to his dismay, Aldo Proietti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Torrete were victorious despite being under pressure from Modugno FC for much of the match.
