Donato Nero might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Carbonaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Nero ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Benedetti in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Carbonaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Amerigo Domina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Fanfarone's late challenge caught a Casalecchio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Fanfarone helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Colle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Olivieri in the 14th minute of the match. Christian Colle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Di Cesare, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Angelo Malvezzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casalecchio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pittolo FC the free kick. Pittolo FC's Christian Colle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Olivieri in the 25th minute of play. Casalecchio AFC's Augusto Carbonaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Casalecchio AFC from getting a goal against them. Augusto Carbonaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Benedetti in the 30th minute of play. Christian Colle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Di Cesare in the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Colle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Di Cesare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Fanfarone kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edoardo Olivieri sped through Pittolo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Colle. The supporters of Casalecchio AFC booed when Pittolo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Fanfarone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianco De Angelis succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Pittolo FC's Christian Colle hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Beppe Pazienza hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute of the match Eugenio Giolo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Carbonaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Casalecchio AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Olivieri to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Fabiano Benedetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Carbonaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Christian Colle made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cosimo Di Cesare sent off a good shot on target. Donato Nero scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Carbonaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Benedetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Augusto Carbonaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Carbonaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Nero went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Fabiano Benedetti put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Carbonaro. In the 97th minute, Donato Nero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
